Gingerbread Fun

Kevin, Isabelle and I made a gingerbread train this afternoon. It doesn't look like the box but we get an 'A' for effort. I told Isabelle she could lick the frosting off her fingers and she looked at me like "really?". I told her it was Christmas and all bets were off. She liked that. :) Every time she licked her fingers she looked over at me...very cute.

She was hooked after the first taste...

Mama Goose

This is too funny! Kevin edited the video but at the end when she looks at me she says "what are you smiling at?" So innocent - too cute!!

Picking Out A Christmas Tree

We picked out a Christmas tree last night and it was fun to see how interactive Isabelle is in the season so far this year. She says "have we been here before?" She was tickling the trees and when we lost the tree we looked at first she said "I will find it" and pointed to one and insisted that was it. :)

Daddy & Belle

Mommy had to hold the tree so daddy could check it out. (Kiera was sleeping that is why she is not being photographed... in case anyone thought we were playing favorites.)

When did she grow up?

This is the tree we came home with.

We read The Tiniest Christmas Tree and one of the people said we couldn't get that tree, its too big, we would have to put a hole in the ceiling. So, when we were getting in the car after the tree was being put on the roof Isabelle says "will we have to put a hole in our ceiling?" :)

Kiera

So smiley!!

I need a hair cut, mom!

On Sunday I suggested Isabelle play dress up... she thought that was a good idea. She kept coming out of her room with a new look. :)

Fancy Nancy Cinderella Nurse

A couple weekends ago we visited some old friends. Isabelle's friend Denver let Isabelle try on his firefighter costume. She was so excited!! Her little face just lit up when she saw the costume. :) She has been pretending to be a firefighter for a good month now so actually trying this on was so fun for her. :)
They were also construction workers.

Kiera

I had to keep putting Kiera on her back because she kept rolling over before I could get the camera. :) She rolls to her tummy just about everytime I put her on her back now, which is great, until she doesn't want to be on her tummy anymore and has not figured out how to roll back. :)

Smiling is what she does best. :)

Trick or Treat

It was so beautiful outside this afternoon. We played for a while until Daddy came home and Grandma Kathy came over.

This is the mode of transportation for 3 year old nurses...
Could they be any cuter? :)

Grandma Kathy was dressed at a pirate. Isabelle was very interested in the bird in grandmas front pocket. She said "I don't have a bird like that".

Daddy and Isabelle waiting for trick or treaters. Isabelle was very into passing out the candy this year. We gave bubbles to the little kids and candy to the older ones. Daddy said I have a hard time telling which ones are little and Isabelle says "I can tell which ones are little, daddy".

Happy Halloween!

Isabelle was so excited the day her costume came in the mail that she had to try it on immediately.

On Monday morning our play group had a halloween party. There was a monkey, a monster, a bumblebee, a pumpkin, a giraffe, a Thomas the train and of course the nurse and the lady bug all showed for the party.

Nurse Belle playing in the cottage. Mommy and ladybug. :)

This morning we went to another halloween party for the moms club. Kiera went as a pumpkin this morning. The kids played a couple games, made a craft and went trick or treating in the yard. Everyone had a great time. After the party, the kids were able to play on the hosts swingset and guess what they had.... a giant trampoline! Isabelle had fun jumping on this beautiful day. It is suppose to be almost 70 today!!

Does she look tired or what??

Hey everyone - I go to gymnastics class all by myself now. Mommy watches in an area above us. Daddy came to watch me do gymnastics on Tuesday and he took lots of pictures.First we stretch, I am very focused. My friend Elizabeth is normally in our class too but she was sick this day.

Walking down the wobble board. (I might have more balance if I let go of my belly button. )
Hanging like a possom... well sort of. I was being silly. My head normally goes up to the bar. :)
I love to swing on the bars and I am really good at it!

I can even climb the rock wall!
Crawling like a kitty on the balance beam. I flipped over and fell off but I was ok. I heard mom gasp though. :)

When class is over Miss Brittany gives us two stamps. I like to get the stamps on my legs. :) Tomorrow we get to wear our costumes for class!

Kiera wanted to help do the laundry...

Isabelle walked in the room and thought it was hilarious that mommy put Kiera in the laundry basket. :)

SISTERS

Apple Orchard

We went to a small apple orchard with Holy Family on Friday. We went on a wagon ride through the apple trees. Isabelle said the tractor was "pretty noisy" but she was "pretty quiet". She is too funny! It was a little chilly so we were bundled up!

Mmmmmm..... The kids were able to get off the wagon and pick an apple from the tree. We decided to stay on the wagon (for fear of not being able to get back up again with Kiera in the Baby Bjorn) so someone handed up some apples. :)

After hearing about about how the apples are sorted & washed, the kids listened to apple stories and were given a donut. Yum!

Kiera was so exhausted from being outside that she didn't even make it out of the parking lot before she fell asleep.
