New Year's Day

On New Year's Day we had Grandma Kathy, Mike, Uncle Aaron and Uncle Brian over for lunch. I made stuffed shells, sausage and the requested dirt cake. Can you guess what Isabelle's favorite part was? :)

Brian was showing us some pictures on his new digital frame... Belle was having a hard time being patient.

Uncle Aaron couldn't resist Isabelle's plea "please play with me". It takes a real man to play with the new nursery center. :)

Poor Brian was in so much back pain - even in agony he bends down to give his niece a hug.

Christmas with Kevin's parents

The Saturday after Christmas we had Kevin's mom and dad over for breakfast. Of course Isabelle's favorite part of breakfast was the coffee cake. :) The girls enjoyed opening presents and some playtime.

Kiera really loved that ribbon and Isabelle loved the new rooms she got for her doll house.

Grandma Bev and the girls

Grandpa and the girls - Kiera loved Isabelle's Curious George.

We had a nice morning with Grandma Bev and Papa Rich -

Christmas Morning

Christmas Eve we left cookies out for Santa and a few carrots out for the reindeer. Isabelle was so cute... Kevin asked her what kind of cookies we should leave and she looked in the box and then she decided "we should not give him Snicker doodles because those are my favorite". :)

We spent the morning at home with just our family and then around noon we went over to Kevin's Aunt Dottie's house in S.Beloit.

Arranging the cookies for Santa
A little happy dance... maybe I am not sure what kind of face that was.

Silas tried to unwrap just about everything. Isabelle was very concerned when he got close to her presents.

The much desired mixer

Kiera got a flower thing that has different textures, plays music and lights up.

Kevin bought me a frame and filled with pictures of Kiera and Isabelle ( I didn't have one with both of them) and it made me tear up. Isabelle drew me a very nice picture to go with it. :)
Kevin was trying to beat my reaction of tears from his present.
Kiera in her little stage. Loving the puppy from Aunt Colleen

Silas got a new chicken bone from Santa. It was gone with in a week.
Kiera was trying to get to the keyboard while Isabelle was busy. :)
(and yes, I did sleep in my shirt)
Why is there so much space here????

My holiday adventures began in Mequon. We were grateful the weather was cleared up so we could make the drive. We had a nice time with Aunt Kathy, Uncle Glenn, Ethan, Joseph and Nana. Uncle Brian and Uncle Aaron also came for Christmas Eve.

Kiera thought everything tasted good...

even the paper!

Joseph played cars with me. I had so much fun I didn't even stop to eat lunch. :)

Uncle Aaron was very tired...

Uncle Brian... maybe thinking about throwing that ball of paper?
